E-commerce Development

Online stores that follow how customers discover, compare and buy.

Most stores should run on an established platform: payments, tax, inventory and order management are solved problems. We have implemented stores on WooCommerce; Shopify is often the simpler choice for teams that want a hosted platform. Either way, the storefront is shaped to look and behave like the brand, not like the theme it started from.

The work usually begins with product presentation: photography, 3D or illustration, how variants and sizes are explained, what a customer needs to see before adding to the cart. Checkout, payments, shipping and tax follow from the markets you sell to.

What we deliver

  • Storefront design, as a custom theme or headless build
  • Product listing, filtering and detail pages
  • Variant, size and bundle logic
  • Cart and checkout configuration
  • Payment, shipping and tax setup for your markets
  • Product data import and structure
  • Email, analytics and fulfilment integrations
  • Store handover and documentation

Technology & implementation

WooCommerce runs on WordPress and gives full control over hosting and extensions, at the cost of keeping them updated. On a hosted platform such as Shopify, the main choice is between a customised theme and a headless storefront. A theme is quicker to build and simple for your team to run. A headless storefront, for example a Next.js front end reading products through Shopify’s Storefront API, offers greater flexibility for custom interfaces and interactive features such as a 3D configurator, at the cost of more development and maintenance.

Integrations follow your operations: payment providers such as Stripe, TWINT or PayPal, shipping and fulfilment, accounting, email marketing and product feeds. Conversion events are set up from the start, with consent handled properly, so you can see where customers drop off.

Performance matters more in commerce than almost anywhere else. Product images are served in modern formats at the right size, and templates are tested on mid-range phones, not only on a studio screen.

How the work runs

  1. Catalogue and markets

Products, variants, markets, currencies and providers mapped before any design.

  2. Platform decision

Theme or headless, based on the design, the integrations and who runs the store.

  3. Design and build

Key templates first: product page, collection, cart and checkout.

  4. Test orders

Complete test purchases, refunds and notification emails before launch.

Example use

An illustrative scenario, not a description of a completed project.

A consumer brand needs an online store with its own product storytelling, interactive elements and a reliable checkout.

Custom websites, considered from the first wireframe to the last breakpoint.
