Multilingual Websites

Websites where every language has its own addresses, navigation and metadata.

Language is part of the architecture, not a layer added at the end. Addresses, navigation, forms and metadata are planned per language from the start, and copy is written for each market, not pushed through machine translation on launch day. This website is built that way, in English, German and Polish.

What we deliver

  • Multilingual content architecture
  • Language-specific URLs and translated slugs
  • hreflang links and per-language metadata
  • Language detection and switcher
  • Localised forms, dates and number formats
  • Translation workflow for your translators

Technology & implementation

Each language gets its own URL prefix and translated slugs, hreflang links between equivalent pages, and a switcher that keeps visitors on the same page. Visitors arriving at the root can be sent to a language by browser setting or location, but a language chosen by hand is remembered and always wins. Content is structured so that a missing translation is caught before publishing, not found by a visitor.

Custom websites, considered from the first wireframe to the last breakpoint.
