We scope, design and build web applications: the interface people use every day and the accounts, data model, permissions and business rules underneath it.
The first version is scoped to go live early, with a small group of real users, and grows in releases as their usage shows what matters.
What we deliver
- Product discovery and MVP scoping
- UX and interface design
- Authentication, roles and permissions
- Database design and business logic
- APIs and third-party integrations
- Subscription billing and payments
- Admin panels
- Automated testing, deployment and monitoring
Technology & implementation
The stack follows the product: who uses it, what data it holds, what it connects to. A common foundation, and one we have built on, is a Next.js application in TypeScript with a PostgreSQL database, user accounts and roles, a clear data model, server-side business logic and an admin area for your team. Input is validated on the server, permissions are checked on every request, and the parts that handle money or personal data get the most testing.
Billing can run through a provider such as Stripe, with webhooks keeping the application’s records in step with payments. Files go to object storage, emails through a transactional email service, and long-running work to background jobs.
Applications run with separate preview and production environments, error monitoring and backups that are tested by restoring them. Unit, integration and end-to-end tests run before each release.
How the work runs
Scope
The smallest version that solves the core problem for real users.
Design
Main flows prototyped and checked with a few future users.
Build in releases
Working software at every step, deployed to a preview you can use.
Launch and iterate
A small group first, then a wider release as usage shows what to improve.
Example use
An illustrative scenario, not a description of a completed project.
A company wants to turn an internal process it runs in spreadsheets and email into a product its customers can use. We scope a first version, design the interface, build accounts, billing and an admin panel, and launch to a small group before opening it up.
